On Monday, Oct. 16, Aramco and Habitat for Humanity Houston partnered to announce the $3.764M donation to fully repair the 176 destroyed Habitat homes in Houston in an exclusive interview with KPRC, the local NBC affiliate:

On Tuesday, Oct. 17, Aramco and Habitat for Humanity Houston formally announced through a press release the $3.764M donation and began media outreach to tell the first portion of the story:

Habitat for Humanity “muck and gut” at Harrell Park. Our volunteers supported Houston Habitat for Humanity to assist those who lost their homes in the flood.  They teamed up to remove flood-soaked drywall, cabinetry and appliances in one of the Habitat neighborhoods, which saw 100 homes sustain major damage.  The company's in-kind donation of building materials and other supplies supported the clean-up efforts.

The HISD Foundation announced seven schools in which students were displaced due to damage from Hurricane Harvey will be the beneficiaries of a $4.7 million flood relief donation from Aramco Services Company, the Houston-based U.S. subsidiary of Saudi Aramco.
